About Südmole
On a spit of land in Mainz, surrounded by light, sky and water, BPD has developed six residential buildings in a striking architectural style. The buildings pay tribute to the former customs port area on which they stand. Seen individually, the buildings are also reminiscent of ships in shape. A total of 128 apartments are incorporated into the six buildings. The use of brickwork has ensured that the new buildings fit in well with their historic environment. Südmole was completed in 2019.
