ParkViertel

Bochum, Germany

About ParkViertel

In Wiemelhausen, a popular district of Bochum, BPD is developing a holistic quarter on a site of almost 18,000 square meters that combines living, working and nature. The future ParkViertel will feature environmentally friendly rainwater management, a modern energy concept and extensive green roofs. The concept will be rounded off by nature-oriented outdoor facilities, traffic-calmed neighborhood access and a mobility concept with e-charging stations as well as car and bike sharing services. Nearly 250 flats for sale and rent are planned. About 30 percent will be publicly subsidised. In addition, there will be a generous amount of office space and a four-group day-care center
